SELECT ARTISTS ASSOCIATES HAS RETURN ENGAGEMENT
WITH VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Select Artists Associates (SAA) is pleased to announce the return of seasoned sports marketing executive, Joe Castor, as VP Business Development & Marketing.

Castor brings over 40-years of Sports Marketing experience to SAA that included being on the team side with the Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals (1988 – 2002), San Diego Chargers (1986 – 1988) and Denver Gold (USFL, 1984 – 1985). Castor will continue as President of his namesake sports marketing business, SportsCastor Marketing, Inc., founded in 2002, which will include strategic collaboration with SAA.

This will be Castor’s 2nd stint with SAA, following a successful 16-year run with SAA from 2002 – 2018 that delivered new on-field Pre-Game, Post-Game, Halftime concert productions for MLB & NFL teams including; Los Angeles Angels (Big & Rich, Goo Goo Dolls, Kip Moore, Nick Jonas, Russell Dickerson, Nelly), Milwaukee Brewers (OAR, Goo Goo Dolls, Joe Nichols, Kip Moore), NY Mets (REO Speedwagon, Steve Miller Band, Heart, Styx, Foreigner, 50 Cent, Ne-Yo, Sergio Vargas), Oakland Athletics (Jordan Sparks), Washington Nationals (Big & Rich, Dierks Bentley, Martina McBride, Sammy Hagar, Blues Traveler, Third Eye Blind, Wallflowers) and the Arizona Cardinals (Black Eyed Peas-Stadium Grand Opening, Three Doors Down, Daughtry) to name a few.

Castor’s first experience with SAA occurred as Director of Marketing for the NFL’s Cardinals when he/team hired Select Artists Associates multiple times in the ‘90’s to produce Pre-Game, Halftime & Post-Game Concerts featuring, Billy Ray Cyrus (included World’s Largest Achy Breaky Dance Line Halftime), Huey Lewis & The News (Heart of Rock & Roll Halftime), The Beach Boys and Tears for Fears SAA President, Charles Johnston, is thrilled to have Joe rejoin the SAA team – “Joe has the experience, relationships and overwhelming passion for combining sports & entertainment and understands what it takes to develop a successful event, achieving team goals & objectives while maximizing return on investment for the sports property”.
